Cellphone's Wardrobe

Holiday makes me lazier and lazier, only stay at home, watching some serial movie, and sleeping. I look at myself in the mirror and found myself getting fat lately.so i decided to leave my chair and go to Atom with mum. Pasar Atom is a very big place where you can meet a large community of chinese people with all the grocery stores and boutiques. They usualy import their products from China, and sell it there with reasonable price. One of place of interest you can visit in Surabaya.

As soon as i arrive there, i was about to look for some dvds at the top floor, but i found none (i mean the pirated dvds, because they are cheaper).I dont have any idea why i couldnt find any so i decided to walk around the cellphone's counter area. So many people walking or stop by all the stalls around. They bought stuff to make their phone looks nicer. My Cellphone rang and it was quite noisy for me to pick my friend's call. I went to the corner, and answered the phone there. Something catched my attention, and i was attracted to some cute cellphone casing. There're many options of colours and cute animal characters for your cellphone plus exclusive pouch and a bunch of accecories, just like personal wardrobe for cellphone itself.hehe...

Me ? i cant help it. I want to buy something too for my Nokia 6600. I want it looks nice like other people's cellphone.
So I 'dressed' my phone with a cute blue koala cellphone casing, with an extremely big (not that big- its just bigger than the phone) white cute accecory hanging on the phone

Cathie's cellphone

Mum said its too big for my phone, but i dont care. Now that's what i called 'cellfashion',that's my cellphone, coming out from the wardrobe centre, with new looks.

When i was the carol's singer. . .

Christmas Carol is a tradition the christians held every christmas season as one of service to God and other people. We visit some houses to bring some candles and sing for them. This is the first time i participate in christmas carol in GKKA Tenggilis. I showed up at 7.30 after drove my mum home.I joined the Group7. It was 7 of us, Me, Ko Yo, Yenny, Irawan, Dessy, Teguh and Ce Henny as the leader. We visited 3 places around Rungkut area.

The most memorable one was Novelin's place, because her house is so far and the way wasnt easy for a car to get through.Walking on the wet land because of the rainy season makes my sandals dip into some dirty puddle. Well, it was the bad part. hehe. but we enjoyed it.
The house was unfinished and as i got into the house, i was so surprised to see how small the living room is, without tiles yet. They put a white christmas tree in the corner with some simple but nice looking ornaments. The seat space is limited and we had to share them. The house might small, not good-looking and cold, but the family who lives in the house has very warm and good hearts of welcoming us to the house. Eventhough they live in such a small house, and they dont eat big meal or wear glamourous clothes, but they always give thanks to the Lord for they could live in their OWN house. I actually has never met some people like them for real ( only have read some in books). So this is such a wonderful christmas experience for me eventhough my sandals got dirty.

Soon after i got home , it was close to midnight already.I received a bunch of sms coming to my mobile phone. Thanks for everyone who has sent me sms and greetings by email or cellphone !I was so tired but i need to wrap some last gifts to put them under the tree. For a while i was looking at my tree and the decorations, and i told myself, they look great!!

Here some pictures i took from my current living room

Countdown to Christmas...

Christmas is near. Have you prepared everything to celebrate this joyous season? I went to SOGO department store to buy some christmas tree decorating ornaments and new garlands with mom. We spent quite a long time to browse the best decorations there, we need to be selective since there're lots of options. I have wrapped a christmas gifts for my parents, and they bought somthing for us too which we will open right on christmas day.

My Christmas day tradition:
.On the first place, we should Thank God for His Love to us, He gave His Only Son on Christmas day. Pray and give thanks to Him.
.Decorating the tree for welcoming touches for our home
.Wrapping some Christmas gifts for family
.Shopping for Christmas treats and dinner
.Browsing for e-greetings on Hallmark site ( my favourite)
.Writting cards for close friends
.Playing Christmas CD whereever you are

Story of Potatoes

An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his predicament.

Dear Son,

I am feeling pretty bad, because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I'm just
getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison.

Love, Dad

Shortly, the old man received this telegram:

For Heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the garden! That's where I buried the GUNS!"

At 4 A.M. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns. Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asking him what to do next.

His son's reply was, "Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad. It's
the best I could do for you at this time."

A Week of Midnite life

Ive just been through a very busy week . the busiest week of the year and keeping me awake and away from my bed. Last week i was in my hometown, attending my brother's engagement party ( congrats! so happy for you, guys! and to yeyent ,welcome to our family - tats a very nice dress you have ), and had someone breaking into my room to submit my late design project by misunderstanding. And today im sitting in front of my laptop, thankful of my finished cd blend portfolio and my internship report, working on my proposals and planning on going to watch Narnia tomorow with my bro's fiance. I feel very tired of staying awake too long and need some vacation. I dont know where i could go to cus my financial management lately wasnt so good. I wish i could find smthing useful but not too expensive for my parents christmas gift.I never skip this each year and i dont wanna skip it this year.I havent talked to kye, patricia, victor ,markie and many more of my online friends because of my crazy lists of projects. ohh. I need some rest....... zzz..edit
